Warrington business centre ensures all offices receive their calls in the snow.

Portal Business Centres used their advanced digital telephony and IT systems yesterday to ensure all their businesses could carry on working without having to travel in the current big freeze.

Portal reprogrammed their telephone system to divert all calls to their receptionists at home, who then carried on work as normal taking messages and forwarding them on.  They also made certain all serviced office clients had their calls diverted to where the businesses required to ensure that they could carry on working.

‘We understand how important it is that small businesses keep open no matter what the weather’ said Sallie Maskrey, Portal’s Managing Director, ‘with so many people snowed in and schools closed we wanted to ensure that all our clients could carry on communicating with their customers and employees.’
