Sallie started working in the Business Centre industry in 1992 after an early career in accountancy and software development.
Sallie is a board member of the BCA and has been actively involved with the association on both a national and regional level, having acted for the BCA as their Ambassador for the Regions. She has also been involved in the Independents Vision Group and been proactive with the promotion of the new Training Academy.
Yvonne graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University with a degree in Mass Media and Communication Studies. She joined a PR company as Account Executive, before quickly rising to Account Manager. She moved to Manchester in 2001 to join a Toyota dealership as Marketing Manager.
Following two years with Toyota, she moved on to Alfa Romeo as Regional Marketing Manager, before joining SsangYong in 2005 as Regional Sales Manager. Yvonne set up her own marketing consultancy in 2009, offering marketing services to the motor industry before joining Portal Business Centres as Marketing Manager.
Alan started his career in the automotive industry as an engineering apprentice. A few years later, he moved into sales and marketing roles within the industry before progressing into business management, responsible for brands such as Jaguar, Land Rover and Aston Martin.
In 2007 Alan started his own business, working as a Management Accountant for a number of SME’s. Alan has been working with Portal for two years.
Lisa’s career has always centred around customer focused roles, and has previous experience in both commerical lettings and property management, looking after multiple business parks in Gloucestershire. Prior to joining Portal as Sales Manager, Lisa was working within the Chester residential lettings market.
In her spare time, Lisa enjoys spending time with her family, walking the dog and eating out. Weekends are spent mountain biking and camping, which Lisa finds is an ideal way to unwind, keep fit and see the country all at the same time!
The longest serving team member, Maz has been with the company for over 27 years. In that time she has undertaken a number of roles within the company, primarily reception based. More recently, she has moved into the accounts department and now carries out the role of Accounts Assistant.
Now only part-time, Maz spends the rest of her time with her family and grandchildren.
